The Atlantic Jamboree (AJ) is open to all youth of Scout and Venturer Scout age who are registered members of Scouts Canada, L’Association des Scouts du Canada or Scout Units from other National Scout Organizations who are members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM).
Jamboree Programming is mainly designed for Scout aged youth (11-15 year olds). However, we do have a unique Venturer Scout Program as well which is tailored to their age group (15-18). Any youth registered with the Scout section, or Venturer Section depending on which program they'll be partaking in, as of the date of the Jamboree may attend as a participant of the Jamboree.
** If Your Howler is eligible to be a Scout on 01 Sept 2020 - They Can Register for the Atlantic Jamboree
Both Scouters and Youth who want to attend AJ and participate in program experiences are considered participants and must register as part of a Patrol.
Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts, or Scouters registering to help run program or work in another department of Jamboree operations can register as Offers of Service (OOS).
Patrols should register as a group to make it easier for our administration team. Patrols should consist of 5-8 youth and at least 2 Scouters, with a total of no more than 10 people. If you don't have a group to go with and would like to register as a single participant you can do that as well and we will try to find you a group to partner with.
Screening & Training for Volunteers
All volunteers attending the Jamboree must be active in MyScouts. They must also have taken Woodbadge I for the Canadian Path. This Jamboree will based on the fundamental philosophies of the Canadian Path Program so it is integral that all Jamboree Participants have a good understanding of the Canadian Path.
If you are interested in attending the jamboree but are from another country we are more than excited to welcome you! Please email for any requirements we would be looking from from International units. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our youth so there will likely be some additional requirements for those coming from outside of Canada.
